History

Built in 2011–2012

Raised on the site of an ordinary football field with funds from the Executive Committee of Gagauzia, at a reconstruction cost of 15 million lei. The works laid a new artificial surface, erected the stands and added an indoor sports hall.

During the Turkish President’s visit in October 2018, the downdraft from his helicopter damaged the stadium roof — after which Turkey allocated funds for its restoration.
